Anamnesis

In simple terms, an anamnesis is “a conversation with the doctor”. In this conversation, the doctor asks the patient or animal owner specific questions about possible previous illnesses. He asks questions about nutrition and lifestyle. The answers from the anamnesis, along with the doctor’s medical experience help the doctor to understand the patient’s complaints and initiate further therapeutic steps.
