Locomotor system

The musculoskeletal system includes all physical structures and elements that ensure that the body can stand upright or move. A distinction is made here between the passive and active musculoskeletal system. The passive apparatus includes structures such as intervertebral discs, bones or joints. The active musculoskeletal system includes, for example, muscles and tendons.
