Psychosomatic disorders

Psychosomatics describes the interactions between mental and physical (somatic) diseases/symptoms. These interactions can cause behavioural problems, diseases, functional disorders and therapeutic obstacles in animals. Psychosomatic disorders are physical complaints that cannot or cannot sufficiently be traced back to an organic disease. In addition to general symptoms, a wide range of symptoms can occur, from pain to cardiovascular problems to gastrointestinal disorders.
