Rehabilitation

The term rehabilitation refers to all measures that serve to restore a person or animal. In medicine, one often speaks of medical rehabilitation. Medical rehabilitation is usually linked to a longer course of treatment and is carried out by veterinarians, veterinary practitioners or certain animal rehabilitation centres. The types of treatment range from classical massages, lymphatic drainage and physiotherapy to certain forms of therapy such as electrotherapy, hydrotherapy and thermotherapy.
