Scar interference fields

Scars can be both a cause of disease and a blockage to therapy. Therefore, it is necessary to treat the animal’s scars. Scar disturbance fields can occur both inside the body (e.g. after castration cuts) or through visible scars. When a wound heals, minor tissue changes remain, which are manifested in the animal by licking, scratching, etc. Each scar can cause an interference field and thus also weaken the immune system. The animal is then more susceptible to immunological stress. Surgical scars can also lead to disorders. Geldings develop spavin (arthrosis of the hock) significantly more often. The castration scar cuts the kidney meridian, which runs through the hock joint. Sometimes a chronic cough in horses only improves after the castration scar has been removed. In dogs, the scar of a castration or spinal surgery can also be problematic.
