Spondylosis

Spondylosis is the technical term for wear and tear of the spine. This wear and tear shows itself in the form of bone spurs (spondylophytes), which press on the intervertebral disc, blood vessels or nerves. Spondylosis can have many forms and causes. Depending on the severity, the treatment can also be very different. As a rule, the vet will put together a treatment concept that includes physiotherapy and/or surgery including rehabilitation.
